Southern California Edison and LiveWire Marketing have extended their business relationship as SCE’s Solar Rooftop Program moves out ofthe planning process and into market rollout. LiveWire Marketing previously completed brand development and market planning services for the $875 million dollar renewable energy project. These activities laid the foundation for the next phase of what will be a five-year initiative for the Southern California Edison. The Solar Rooftop Program aims to construct 250 Megawatts of solar panels on commercial rooftops in Southern California’s Inland Empire.
“This project is forward-thinking and will revolutionize the solar market in Southern California by lowering equipment prices through economies of scale and creating much-needed jobs in a clean technology industry,” explained Dan LaBelle, founder of LiveWire Marketing.
During the next phase of the rollout LiveWire Marketing will develop marketing tactics to capture audience attention and securethe number of leases required to make the program a success. “We have completed a comprehensive marketing package that not only explains the benefits of the program but demonstrates its commitment to environmentally friendly technology by being printed on FSC certified paper with vegetable-based inks,” Mr. Labelle said. Other program-specific marketing materials will follow, including a custom presentation and digital marketing campaign.
